2. Information We Collect

User-Provided Data – name, email address, company name, and any info you enter in the app.
QuickBooks Data – customers, invoices, payments, accounts, and other objects you authorize during the Intuit OAuth consent flow.
Usage & Diagnostic Data – log files, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookies, and telemetry events.

3. How We Use Information

Deliver core app features (e.g., syncing QuickBooks data).
Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues.
Improve and secure the service, including analytics and fraud prevention.
Send operational notices (updates, security alerts, billing).
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our User Agreement.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We never sell personal or QuickBooks data. We share it only:

With trusted service providers (cloud hosting, email, analytics) bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
If required by law (court order, subpoena, or similar legal process).
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (we’ll give advance notice).
With your explicit consent.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS 1.2+, database encryption at rest, tight network firewalls, least-privilege access controls, and periodic penetration testing. No system is 100 % secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep user-provided and QuickBooks data only as long as necessary to operate the service or as required by law.
If you disconnect the app in Intuit → App Connections or close your account, we delete or de-identify QuickBooks data within 30 days.
You may request full deletion at any time by emailing davidmattson180@gmail.com.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us at the address in Section 10.

8. International Transfers

We host data in United States. If you access the Service from outside that region, you agree to the transfer of your information across borders subject to this Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. We’ll post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect.
